Molly is an Pennsylvania native who first began performing professionally at thirteen years old in Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater, in The Snow Queen. The Arden Theater production of Into the Woods, she won an award called the Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. The role was reprised when making her Broadway debut at 15 with Into the Woods, on Broadway. She was also nominated as an award for the Drama League Award. Molly was also in Fiddler on the Roof, the Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. After that, she went to Princeton University and was a member of Princeton's Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2008. In Religion. In this period she debuted in the role of Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. Molly's career continued after leaving college with various Off Broadway plays, among those was End Days by Ensemble Studio Theater. Molly also worked for a television show as a character in Royal Pains as well as the HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was a part of numerous regional plays, among them The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee performed by Barrington Stage Company in 2008 as well as the North Shore Music Theatre's 2010 production The Diary of Anne Frank at the Westport Country Playhouse in which Molly was Anne. Molly was most famous for her character Ali on the television show Paranormal Activity 2 and for the ABC Comedy Last Man Standing written by Jack Burditt starring Tim Allen.
